The intake of firm orders at Senvion fell in 2016 from the previous year when figures were boosted by a large offshore contract, but the Germany-based OEM said the order intake sped up in the fourth quarter of 2016, which will help its 2017 numbers.
Senvion’s 2016 firm orders reached €1.3bn ($1.39bn), down from €2.2bn a year earlier, when the order intake benefited from offshore wind turbine contracts worth €662m.
