Swedish utility Vattenfall has signed an agreement to buy the 584MW Atlantis 1 offshore wind project in the German North Sea from developer PNE Wind.
Vattenfall will pay “a lower double digit million Euro amount” for the project following the completion of various closing conditions.
Atlantis 1 could host up to 73 8MW turbines at its site 84km northwest of the island of Borkum.
