A South Korean project company plans by the end of 2018 to build an offshore wind farm of about 97MW that would be the country’s largest, said the region that is due to host the project.
The Saemangeum project will be constructed at a cost of 400bn won ($332m) near to the shore off Gunsan City on the country’s Yellow Sea coast, said a statement from the Saemangeum Development Agency (SDA) on the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) over the plant.
