Contractor A2SEA's Sea Challenger has installed the lead-off turbine at the 402MW Dudgeon offshore wind farm off the UK.

The jack-up vessel, which has been used for offshore accommodation during completion and commissioning of the Statoil-developed offshore wind farm's substation, will carry on installation of the project's remaining 66 Siemens SWT-6.0-154s, the first machines to be shipped out of the German turbine maker's new Green Port Hull facility in England.
