Indian wind group Suzlon has secured its first order from ambitious developer Axis Energy Group, which will deploy 105MW of its turbines at a project in Andhra Pradesh.
Suzlon will supply 50 of its S111 90m 2.1MW machines at the project in the Anantapur district, where it will also provide O&M services for 10 years.
The two-phase project is due for completion by June of this year and has the potential to power 50,000 homes, said Suzlon.
