Brazilian renewable energy company Renova Energia is close to selling its 386MW Alto Sertão 2 wind complex to AES Corp’s local unit AES Brasil, according to reports.
The value of the sale is between R$600m ($184m) and R$700m, said Reuters.
A spokesperson at Renova Energia did not confirm the transaction, but said that the wind complex is for sale and several Brazilian and foreign groups have been studying an acquisition.
