Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received three different firm and unconditional wind turbine orders in the US with a combined capacity of 291MW, and announced its market entry into Honduras with a 59MW order.
The largest of the US orders is for 200MW of the company’s V110-2.0MW turbine components that Vestas says enable its future project pipeline.
The turbine component will be manufactured at Vestas’ Colorado factories, but the manufacturer says the customer’s name hasn’t been disclosed at the customer’s request.
