CEZ Group – the largest utility in Central and Eastern Europe – has advanced its recently initiated expansion into Western European renewables assets by buying another 85.25MW in German onshore wind capacity, pushing its German RE portfolio close to 100MW.
The capacity now purchased from German developer Wpd is dispersed over eight northern German wind parks that are already operating. CEZ will receive operating support for the wind parks from Wdp unit Wdp Windmanager.
