Michigan regulators have approved a deal that will allow DTE Energy, among the largest US investor-owned utilities, to build the 161MW Pine River wind farm by the end of 2018.
The Pine River project, located in central Michigan in the counties of Gratiot and Isabella, would become the largest wind farm owned by Detroit-based DTE, adding to the 400MW or so it owns today—all of it built with GE turbines.
