AEP Ohio, a unit of American Electric Power, is seeking proposals for up to 250MW of wind and up to 100MW of solar resources, part of the carbon-heavy utility’s efforts to diversify its energy mix.
The projects chosen by AEP Ohio must win approval from regulators at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO). The utility says PV facilities must have at least 10MW nameplate capacity.
