French renewables developer Akuo Energy has finalised a deal with General Electric for 53 turbines for its 150MW Rocksprings wind project in Texas, and revealed it has sold the full output through two long-term corporate PPAs.
GE will supply Rocksprings with a mixture of 2.3MW and 1.72MW turbines, and will stay on to supervise O&M at the project through a long-term service contract.
