Oil giant Shell strengthened its ties with the offshore wind sector by signing a deal to buy all the power from the 108MW Egmond aan Zee project in Dutch waters.
Shell Energy Europe, part of the Anglo-Dutch group’s supply and trading business, will supply power from the project to European industrial and commercial customers seeking to raise their own consumption of renewable electricity, said a statement.
