German wind OEM Senvion has wrapped up its first deal in India with a 500MW turbine supply agreement.
The “firm framework agreement” with an unnamed “large Indian IPP” will see the delivery of 220 turbines for installation between the end of 2017 and 2019.
The machines are from the range acquired by Senvion through its acquisition of Kenersys India earlier this year.
