Offshore wind turbine market-leader Siemens took another step in its drive to cut costs in the sector with the debut of Rotra Vente, the first of two specialist component vessels it has commissioned to make transportation up to 20% cheaper.

How will the roll-on-roll-off Rotra Vente vessel help to reduce costs?
Rotra Vente will carry multiple 8MW nacelles and will connect the manufacturing site in Cuxhaven, Germany with installation harbours in the North and Baltic Seas.
