Apple will link with local wind power group Goldwind to own wind farms in China as part of the tech giant’s push to power its global manufacturing base from renewables.
Apple will take 30% equity stakes in four Goldwind subsidiaries, the latter told investors on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange today.
The US group will co-operate with Goldwind unit Beijing Tianrun New Energy Investment Co.
