China’s Envision Energy has deepened its footprint in the European wind power market with the purchase of a 500MW development portfolio in France.
Envision bought a portfolio at various stages of advancement from Velocita Energy Developments for an undisclosed sum.
The deal includes a clutch of projects mostly located near Besancon in northeast France as well as Velocita’s French team, which Envision said would continue to advance the portfolio’s development.
