Trianel has awarded the contract for turbine foundations for Trianel Windpark Borkum II wind farm to Seaway Heavy Lifting.
The 203MW project is located 45 km north of Borkum Island in the German bight.
Project management and engineering of the mono pile and a transition piece for the 6.3MW machines is already underway, although the contract is still subject to financial close of the full project - expected in the first half of 2017.
