LM Wind reported “strong growth” in revenue and profitability in its first quarterly results since General Electric agreed to acquire the Denmark-based blade maker in a deal worth €1.5bn ($1.6bn).

Privately held LM, which makes blades for many of the world’s top wind-turbine suppliers, posted a net profit of €16.7m for the third quarter, bringing its total profit for the year through 30 September to €42.9m.
