Wind and solar companies registered a total of 2.49GW of technical bids for Argentina’s Round 1.5 of its renewables energy tender programme RenovAr.
Wind accounted for 1.56GW from 19 projects, while the 28 solar projects totaled up to 925MW.
The Mines and Energy Ministry announced it would appraise them by 23 November to see if they were technically qualified. That is when developers have to file the economic proposals for the projects.
