A strong performance by renewable power generation assets in France lifted otherwise downbeat nine-month figures from Engie, the Paris-based energy giant.
At €47.5bn ($51.7bn), revenue for the first nine months of 2016 was down more than 10% on the previous year’s figure. This ultimately translated into group earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) down by 5.4% on a reported basis and 2% on an organic basis on the 2015 numbers, at €7.7bn
