Earlier this month, during reporting about Siemens’ ongoing attempts to buy Gamesa, whose stake in Adwen is complicating the process, Reuters said that GE was “interested” in buying the offshore OEM, citing remarks made by Pécresse.
But Pécresse says that his words were twisted, insisting: “I did not say that. “We are not today engaged in any deep discussions with anybody.”
