Developer Mainstream Renewable Power (MRP) is also appealing a July decision in favour of bird charity RSPB Scotland in relation to its 450MW Neart na Gaoithe development – one of three major projects covered by the earlier ruling.
Neart na Gaoithe, the 784MW Inch Cape and 1GW-plus Seagreen Alpha and Bravo projects all saw their planning consents annulled by the Court of Session in Edinburgh when RSPB Scotland successfully challenged the consent decisions over their potential impact on seabird colonies in the Forth and Tay region.
