LM, which supplies blades to many of the world’s leading turbine manufacturers, reported a quarterly net profit of €17.7m ($19.8m), compared to a €4.2m loss in the same quarter last year.

Revenues surged 45% to €259.7m, driven by higher sales volumes after the recent openings of factories in Brazil and India. At constant exchange rates, the company’s revenue growth would have been even stronger.
