The first Carbon Clean200 showed an overall annualised return of almost 22% over the past 10 years, according to simulations run by list compilers You Sow and Corporate Knights. That compares to just under 8% delivered by 200 fossil fuel companies.
The Clean200 ranks major publicly-listed companies by their clean-energy revenues using data supplied by Bloomberg New Energy Finance, said the report’s authors.
