The new UK Prime Minister Theresa May last month delayed finally approving Hinkley Point C, reportedly because of security concerns about China’s involvement in the project. New secretary of business, energy and industrial strategy Greg Clark says the government needs time to consider the “component parts of the mix” before coming to a final decision on the project in early autumn.
