Late last year it emerged that Norway’s Fred Olsen was looking to buy the Icebreaker project, which could enter construction as soon as 2018 and would be the first US offshore wind farm built in freshwater. Those talks are still underway, says LEEDCo president Lorry Wagner.

“We’re dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s of closing that deal,” Wagner tells Recharge.
