The report, entitled The Energy of Scotland: Heating, moving and powering our lives from now to 2030, sets out how Scotland’s climate targets could be met in the most cost effective way based on renewables.
It recommends that a Warm Homes Act be introduced to increase access to clean, affordable heat, suggesting that up to two-fifths of Scottish homes could be heated from renewables.
