The turbines will be divided between two coastal wind power projects, 19 at Matoushan and another 19 at Wangmushan, both of which are located in the province of Fujian.
The turbines are scheduled for the debut delivery during the second quarter of 2017, with the developments to be commissioned by the first quarter of 2018.
Gamesa delivered more turbines to China last year than any other foreign OEM, bringing its to-date total supply into the country to nearly 4.2GW.
