Facebook has unveiled a 100% renewable power target for the end of 2020, putting a date on its ambition to join other technology giants in using clean electricity for all its global operations.
The social networking giant said the renewable power target is part of a new push to reduce its emissions by 75% in 2020 against 2017 levels – an ambition “consistent with the goals set forth in the Paris Climate Agreement”.
