Global electronics giant Samsung set a 100%-renewable target for its operations in the US, Europe and China by 2020, joining other corporates in adopting ambitious clean energy goals.
The Korean group – best known for its range of mobile phones and other consumer gadgets – said the three markets are “well-equipped with infrastructure for the development and transmission of renewable energy” to underpin sourcing for its factories and offices.
