A group of international banks have agreed to offer financial support for the 51MW Paradise Park solar farm in Jamaica, expected to come online next year.

Paradise Park, majority-owned by independent power producer (IPP) Neoen, together with solar developer Rekamniar Frontier Ventures and investment fund MPC Caribbean Clean Energy Fund, will be commissioned in the first half of 2019.

The $64m funding for the project will be provided by France’s development bank Proparco and Dutch development bankFMO.
