EDP Renewables has finalized a 20-year power purchase agreement with Hoosier Energy Rural Electric Cooperative to enable construction of a 200MW PV facility in eastern Indiana – the largest solar array in the US Midwest.
Separately, EDPR says its 200MW Meadow Lake VI wind farm in western Indiana will enter commercial operation in the fourth quarter. That will expand its installed wind power capacity in the state to more than 1GW comprising seven facilities, the company told Recharge.
