The International Energy Agency (IEA) has been accused of allegedly “undermining” renewable energy in favor of oil and gas with its forecasts and policy scenarios, according to research from non-profit organisation Oil Change International.

Paris-based IEA says its mission in part is to “help countries collectively respond to oil supply disruptions”, but that its goals have evolved and today it “works to ensure reliable, affordable and clean energy for its 30 member countries and beyond”.
