SolarPower Europe has held the first meeting of its new Emerging Markets Task Force, aimed at finding solar opportunities in developing regions in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.
The move was initiated by Italian group Eni, historically an oil and gas-focused player that has recently diversified into renewables.
