The Brazilian government has approved rules and cap prices for solar and wind below $100 per MWh for the A-4 tender scheduled for 4 April, following a trend of price reduction seen last year with low caps set and even lower final prices.
Power regulator Aneel said that the cap price for new wind projects in this year’s tender will be R$255/MWh ($78.47/MWh)
