Brazil’s National Development Bank (BNDES) is considering amending its local-content requirements and lengthening the tenure of loans for wind projects, in a bid to offset uncertainty caused by changes in the market and to its own lending policies.

“We are studying easing local content requirements, although this is complex measure since the bank’s mission is to support Brazilian industry and Brazilian jobs.
