Abu Dhabi clean-energy company Masdar has set the seal on financing of the 200MW Baynouna PV project in Jordan, the Middle East kingdom’s largest solar power development to-date.
The plant, being built 10km outside the capital Amman via special purpose project vehicle the Baynouna Solar Energy Company (BSEC) for state utility National Electric Power Company, will be Jordan’s second solar farm.
