Brazil has topped 1GW of installed solar PV capacity, with more than 900MW of utility-scale solar plants built in 2017 either operating or in pre-commercial tests, said the Brazilian Solar Power Association (Absolar).
The rest is made up of rooftop solar, which continued growing rapidly to 164MW by the end of 2017 from 60MW at the beginning of last year, said Absolar.
