Global engineering group Ramboll will merge its Oil & Gas and Energy divisions, citing a “strong push towards renewables and a growing focus on sustainability” as major fossil players embrace the energy transition.

Denmark-based Ramboll said the merged unit – to be named Ramboll Energy – will be a “one-stop energy shop” better able to serve large players in a market where the likes of Statoil and Total are taking positions in the renewables sector.
