British investment fund Actis has secured $300m in project financing for two solar PV projects in Mexico with a combined capacity of 337MW.

The fund’s local investment vehicle, Zuma Energía, signed 15-year, US dollar indexed PPAs for the two projects following the country’ second clean-energy tender last year.

The projects’ financing was signed with local Mexican and regional development banks Bancomext, Banobras, Nafin and the North American Development Bank (Nadbank).
