The European Foresea technology funding programme has put out a call for proposals to developers of offshore oil & gas, subsea and shipping technologies that could be “transitioned” for use in offshore wind, tidal and wave power.
Successful applicants will receive support to trial their cross-over concepts at one of the Foresea (Funding Ocean Energy through Strategic European Action) test centres: EMEC off the UK, DMEC off the Netherlands, SEM REV off France and SmartBay off Ireland.
