Russia plans to tender off almost 1GW more renewables capacity next year – most of it made up of wind power – said a senior minister.
The country wants to hold tenders for 899MW of wind power and 57MW of PV capacity in 2018, according to first deputy energy minister Alexei Texler, in comments made as part of Russian Energy Week and quoted by the Russian wind power federation (RAWI).
