The Danish centre-right minority government has signed a deal with the opposition, right-wing populist Danish People’s Party outlining a novel support system estimated to fund about 190MW in new renewable energy capacity over the coming two years.
The Danish People's Party is the second largest party by seats in the parliament in Copenhagen, and one that the coalition government has been relying on for support.
