Finnish utility Fortum is in advanced talks with E.ON to buy the German utility’s 46.65% stake in fossil, hydro and nuclear company Uniper that would make E.ON a pure-play renewables, grids and customer solutions company after it had spun off Uniper in 2015.
Uniper since 2016 has been operating as a separate legal entity, but E.ON had kept the 46.65%
