Oil group Shell and Japan’s SoftBank are said to be among a growing list of potential suitors for Asian renewables giant Equis Energy.

Shell and SoftBank are both considering bidding for Equis, the Singapore-based IPP that has 4.7GW of assets in operation and development across Asia with a further pipeline totaling 6.3GW, and is valued at up to $5bn, Reuters said.
