Key industry bodies representing Europe’s renewables, power and e-mobility sectors today joined forces in a bid to boost electricity’s role in areas including transport, heating and cooling.
As EU officials prepare to make key decisions over the bloc’s energy strategy, The Electrification Alliance aims to push the role of the power sector in decarbonising areas of the economy that have so far lagged behind the electricity industry in reducing emissions.
