Is there a silver lining for renewables in Donald Trump’s decision to pull the US out of the Paris accord?
Upon hearing the news, many in the global renewables business will have reacted with dismay, disgust and bewilderment, and rightly so. But for renewables, the decision also means new prominence in the political conversation, and with it comes opportunity.
Trump’s move, deeply disrespectful to the rest of the world in both style and substance, will not be popular with most of the American electorate.
