Norwegian group Scatec Solar has signed power purchase agreements (PPA) for 400MW worth of projects in Egypt, aimed to support the nations’ climate change goals.
Scatec, together with its partners, landed the 25-year PPA for delivery of electricity from six solar. All project will be located in Ben Ban area near Aswan in Upper Egypt and are expected to generate about 870GWh of solar electricity per year.
