Nevada lands first Chinese wind turbine factory in US

China’s A-Power Energy Generation Systems, in cooperation with US partners, says it will build a major wind turbine production and assembly plant in Nevada to serve the North and South American markets, employing 1,000 people and turning out up to 1.1 gigawatts of turbines annually.
