Solar group SunEdison has wrapped up financing with Deutsche Bank for 56MW of utility-scale PV at four projects in the UK.

The portfolio, expected to be fully operational by the end of March, will be acquired by Foresight Solar Fund once the plants are grid connected.

The facilities, all in southern England, will then be managed by the SunEdison Renewable Operation Centre (ROC).

The deal “marks SunEdison's entry into the rapidly growing UK solar market” said Michael Volkermann, co-head of Infrastructure & Energy at Deutsche Bank.
